WOLVES WIN FINAL

Wolverhampton have earned the right to stage this year’s British Championship Final on June 14.

The top eight riders from the two semi-finals at Sheffield and King’s Lynn on May 6 and 26 respectively will travel to Monmore Green to decide who will claim the British Grand Prix wild card.

The highest finishing rider aside from SGP regulars Chris Harris and Tai Woffinden will book their place at the Millennium Stadium on July 10.

Meanwhile, the British Under-21 Final will take place at Lakeside on April 16. Coventry will be the venue for the Elite Riders Championship on a date yet to be confirmed and Ipswich will host the Elite League Pairs on September 4.

This season’s Premier League Fours Championship has been moved to Elite circuit Peterborough and will be held on August 15. Sheffield stages the PLRC on September 26, while the Premier League Pairs returns to Somerset on July 9 – the night before the British SGP.
