DUDEK TO GO ELITE?
Polish Under-21 champion Patryk Dudek may consider a mid-season move to the British Elite League.
The Zielona Gora rider is one of the Speedway World Cup-winning country’s most promising teenagers. But his father Slawomir does not want the 17-year-old to try his luck in the UK until he is notching up big scores in the Polish Ekstraliga.
He told Przeglądu Sportowego: “Patryk has already signed a contract at losses in the Polish, Swedish, Danish and German leagues. We want to stand on a strong financial footing.
“We cannot afford England now. Initially, my son would probably not score too many points and we need to make the right deal.
“At this time, we do not have a great contract in Poland. We’re not complaining to Zielona Gora. It means my son has to go well in the upcoming competitions and show that he deserves something more.
“But I was thinking that if he starts the season well and is gaining a lot of points, Patryk may sign an agreement in England.”
