Speedway Grand Prix

GRZEGORZ WALASEK has scored a highly creditable 72 Grand Prix points spread over just 11 appearances. In 2001 Walasek rode four times as a replacement rider, scoring 10 at Cardiff, 6 at Vojens, 14 at Prague and 4 at Bydgoszcz and began the following season as a qualified rider until missing the final four rounds due to injury. He collected 13 points from his only appearance in 2004 as a Wild Card at Wroclaw when he made the semi finals. Like his fellow countryman Sebastian Ulamek, qualified through the GP Challenge in Zielona Gora last year.
