British star Chris Harris has reportedly received a few pointers from three-time world champion Jason Crump as he bids to get up to speed for the FIM Fogo European SGP in Leszno on April 28.

Harris trained with his Ekstraliga team mates in Czestochowa on Thursday afternoon.

And the Lions had some illustrious company after Rzeszow No.1 Crump and his SGP crew also showed up to practice.

On top of limbering up for the next World Championship round, Crump was said to have given his old Rzeszow colleague and SGP rival Harris some help with his equipment.

Czestochowa team manager Jaroslaw Dymek says the difference was noticeable in Harris’ pace as the session progressed.

He told Sportowefakty.pl: “Jason strongly helped in preparing Chris’ equipment. The effects of this were visible because Bomber was very fast on the track.

"They are good friends who support each other, despite the fact they do not ride in the same team.

"The presence of Jason in Czestochowa was an asset not only for Chris, but also for our other riders, especially the youngsters who had the opportunity to spy on a three-time world champion.”
