MIEDZINSKI MULLS OVER UK STAY

Polish star Adrian Miedzinski does not rule out extending his stay at British club Poole when his short-term deal expires at the end of May.
The 2010 FIM Monster Energy Speedway World Cup winner agreed to join the Pirates for the start of the season after a near-five year absence from British racing.
Miedzinski signed on a seemingly low 5.57 average and could play a huge part in the club’s Elite League play-off hopes if he lifts that figure.
"Right now I have a contract until the end of May and if everything is okay in Poland, Sweden and in Britain, we’ll see."

Even if he leaves on an increased average, it would mean Pirates could sign a strong replacement.
But Miedzinski hasn’t ruled out racing alongside Torun team mates Chris Holder and Darcy Ward for the rest of the season at Wimborne Road and will make a decision on his future next month.
The 26-year-old, who races for Torun at home to Gdansk in the Polish Ekstraliga this afternoon, said: “Right now I have a contract until the end of May and if everything is okay in Poland, Sweden and in Britain, we’ll see. We’ll see in May.”
Miedzinski admits Holder and Ward have helped him settle in at the club and says their knowledge of the British tracks has been vital.
He added: “We help each other. Darcy and Chris have raced in Britain for a few years and they know more about the tracks and setup.
“They help me sometimes in Britain and I help them sometimes in Poland. It depends who is racing better.”
