SCHLEIN: BIG GUNS WILL FIRE

Belle Vue captain Rory Schlein is backing the team’s big hitters to produce the goods when they seek their first Elite League victory against Eastbourne at Kirkmanshulme Lane tonight.
Aces’ heat leaders were overpowered by Lakeside’s top three when they lost at home to the league leaders last Monday, but Schlein feels his side took enough from that match to step up their form.
Speaking ahead of tonight's Sky Sports televised clash, said: “It has been said we didn’t have enough top end power against a compact Lakeside team.
"But team manager Jim Lynch and I are optimistic enough to believe that in Adam Shields and Charlie Gjedde and myself, we have riders with enough experience to give us that power.
“I feel that collectively and individually we haven’t quite clicked yet but we are all professionals and we will get it sorted.”
