Gothenburg top two Freddie Lindgren and Greg Hancock face an instant SGP rematch in heat two of the FIM Dansk Metal Danish Grand Prix in Copenhagen on Saturday.

The pair have been drawn together in heat two and have Polish legend Tomasz Gollob and seventh-placed Emil Sayfutdinov for company.

With Mr G nine points behind Herbie in the World Championship race, this battle could have a real bearing on who leaves PARKEN Stadium leading the standings.

Heat 12 could also prove crucial as Hancock comes up against his nearest rival, home favourite Nicki Pedersen, who is just two points behind the Californian in second. Polish champion Jaroslaw Hampel and Swedish rider Peter Ljung line up alongside them.

Hampel meets another pair of title rivals in race 16, where he is drawn against fellow Copenhagen winners Jason Crump and Gollob, as well as Antonio Lindback, who is ninth and bidding to break into the top eight.

Heat 19 should be a thriller for the locals, as Nicki Pedersen comes up against fellow Danish internationals Bjarne Pedersen and Kenneth Bjerre, in addition to his former Gorzow team mate Gollob.

Bjerre collides with Hans Andersen in the night’s opening race. They are joined by fourth-placed Chris Holder and Hampel.

Crump gets his evening underway in race three against Chris Harris, Bjarne Pedersen and Ljung. Nicki Pedersen starts off against world No.2 Andreas Jonsson, Lindback and wild card Michael Jepsen Jensen.
