KING CAN'T WAIT FOR LYNN DATE

Team Great Britain star Danny King admits it will be a “massive honour” to make his FIM Monster Energy Speedway World Cup return at King’s Lynn on July 9.
The Birmingham man has been picked alongside SGP star Chris Harris and injured duo Scott Nicholls (broken collarbone) and Tai Woffinden (broken scaphoid), who are both fighting to be fit.
"I can’t even put into words what it means to ride for Great Britain in the World Cup. It’s something which I will carry forward for the rest of my life."

King finished third in the SGP qualification quarter final at Berwick on Saturday and the former Dackarna rider’s experience at Malilla – venue for the SWC Race-Off and Final on July 12 and 14 – certainly did his chances no harm.
King, who last raced for the national side in 2009, can’t wait to give his all for the Lions.
He said: “It’s a massive honour for me. I can’t even put into words what it means to ride for Great Britain in the World Cup. It’s something which I will carry forward for the rest of my life.
“I’m still very ambitious and want to achieve as much as possible in this sport, so to get the call for the World Cup is a tremendous boost for me.
“I’ve had a lot of people sending me messages and I thank them for that, it’s very much appreciated and all I can say is that I will give it my very, very best at King’s Lynn.”
