World Championship rivals Jason Crump and Chris Holder will lead Australia into action in the FIM Monster Energy Speedway World Cup next month.

Australia launch their campaign against Team Great Britain, Germany and the Czech Republic in Event 2 at King’s Lynn on July 9.

Their SGP duo will be joined by in-form Lakeside star Davey Watt and double World Under-21 champion Darcy Ward, who hopes to recover from a broken hand in time.

All four men were part of the Aussie team, which claimed the silver medal in last year’s SWC Final at Gorzow. They have been tipped to go one better by the bookmakers this year.

The boys from Down Under take on a British side, consisting of Grand Prix rider Chris Harris and Danny King, as well as Scott Nicholls and Tai Woffinden, who must recover from collarbone and scaphoid problems respectively if they are to take their places.
