Polish starlet Przemyslaw Pawlicki powered to 13 paid 14 points as his Leszno side defeated Polish Ekstraliga leaders Tarnow 48-42 at the Alfred Smoczyk Stadium.

The FIM Fogo European SGP wild card dropped just one point in five rides to world champion Greg Hancock in heat two. But Pawlicki got revenge in heat 15, while his younger brother Piotr also got the better of the Californian in race 11 and finished on 10 paid 12.

Aussie international Troy Batchelor and Damian Balinski bagged eight paid 10 apiece for the Bulls.

Hancock racked up 14 paid 16 for the Swallows. His protégée Maciej Janowski weighed in with 10 paid 11 at reserve, while SGP series reserve Martin Vaculik accrued a straight 10.

Elsewhere, Tomasz Gollob picked a perfect time to end his recent Ekstraliga slump, scoring 12 paid 13 points to earn Gorzow a 45-45 draw away to deadly rivals Zielona Gora.

Danish star Niels-Kristian Iversen backed him up on nine, while Bartosz Zmarzlik added eight paid 10. Krzysztof Kasprzak made a miraculous return from the back injury which kept him out of Poole's British Elite League trip to Swindon on Monday, scoring seven from four rides.

Piotr Protasiewicz led Falubaz on 11, while world No.2 Andreas Jonsson collected 10 paid 11. But the pair were unable to get the better of Gollob in heat 15 to snatch a win for the hosts.

In the night’s other meeting, Russian rider Emil Sayfutdinov piled up 13 paid 14 points for Bydgoszcz as they won 49-41 at home to their local rivals Torun. Sayfutdinov was aided by a 10 paid 12-point haul from reserve Mikolaj Curylo.

Ryan Sullivan starred on 13 for the visitors, while Chris Holder and Darcy Ward both contributed nine to their side’s tally.
