ANTON: TOP EIGHT TOP PRIORITY

Swedish international Antonio Lindback says he is putting thoughts of the GP Challenge out of his mind as he bids to take the top-eight route into the SGP series for 2013.
The Avesta-based man goes into the FIM Scandinavian SGP in Malilla on Saturday on the back of a blistering run of results.
He won his first Grand Prix round in Terenzano on August 11 and finished third in the FIM Fogo British SGP in Cardiff on August 25. Lindback has also helped Indianerna into the Swedish Elitserien play-off semis with some much-improved league form.
The Rio Rocket is ninth in the World Championship on 74 points – just two behind compatriot Andreas Jonsson, who occupies the final automatic qualifying position for next year.
"It has been working well in the GP Challenge, but this year I want to make it through the top eight. I’m working hard on that."

Lindback has won the GP Challenge twice in 2004 and 2011 and finished second in 2010, so he will be among the favourites for the cutthroat qualifier at Gorican on September 29.
But with his first ever top-eight finish within touching distance, the Gniezno man would love to take that route into next year’s series.
He said: “Just for the moment, I am thinking about the next GP. I’m not looking that far ahead and I’m not starting to think about the Challenge.
“Of course, I’ll want to be ready for that meeting, but I’ll take it one at a time for now. The next one is the most important.
“It has been working well in the GP Challenge, but this year I want to make it through the top eight. I’m working hard on that. I have three more meetings in which I feel I can get there without doing it at Gorican. That’s what I want to do.”
