DUDEK FACES OPERATION

Monday 17th September 2012, 09:26
Polish starlet Patryk Dudek could face surgery after breaking two ribs and suffering a hematoma of the liver in a crash at Gorzow on Sunday.
The FIM Speedway Under-21 world finalist tumbled hard in heat four of Zielona Gora’s 56-34 loss in the Polish Ekstraliga play-off semi-final, second leg.
The 20-year-old was taken to hospital for tests and news of his injuries was confirmed to the Polish media by his mother.
He will almost certainly miss Dackarna’s Swedish Elitserien play-off semi-final, second leg trip to Piraterna on Wednesday, where the visitors are seeking to overturn a 46-44 first-leg deficit.
Dudek’s Dackarna team mate, SGP star Andreas Jonsson, has declared himself fit for the meeting after being injured in a spill at the FIM Scandinavian SGP in Malilla on September 8.
