Swedish veteran Magnus Zetterstrom has returned to his home town club Smederna for 2013.

The 2010 SGP rider completes his switch from Hammarby and links up with Grand Prix regular Andreas Jonsson at the newly-promoted club.

Zetterstrom was born in Eskilstuna and is determined to play his part in making sure Smederna stays in the top flight.

He told the club’s official website: “The club has presented a good team and although it is not all clear yet, it is an ever better team than what I hoped for.

“It will of course be fun to be a part of the team 2013. I hope the Eskilstuna fans are looking forward to the season and come to support us at the arena. With this team, we can get to the play-off semi-finals, I think, but obviously the first goal to keep us in the Elitserien.”
