Swedish racer Dennis Andersson says his broken leg is fixed after penning a one-year contract with Polish Ekstraliga outfit Rzeszow.

Andersson joins from Wroclaw and links up with the likes of triple world champion Nicki Pedersen, former SGP rider Grzegorz Walasek, Polish international Rafal Okoniewski, Jurica Pavlic and Dawid Lampart.

My leg is healed. During the winter, I’ve been training hard to be in the best form possible for this season.

The Avesta-based man will also ride for Swedish Elitserien club Dackarna, but has opted against racing in Britain this year.

Andersson cannot wait to link up with his new team mates and is working hard on and off the bike to get back to his best after his 2012 season was ended by a broken leg in August.

He told Sportowefakty.pl: “I am very happy that I signed a contract with Rzeszow. This is a very good team that has a lot of very experienced riders and I'm sure I’ll learn a lot from them.

“I feel that this year I'll make a big progress and become a better rider. I cannot wait for the season.

“My leg is healed. During the winter, I’ve been training hard to be in the best form possible for this season.

“Right now I feel fit, allowing me to look positively towards the future. I’m also working on my equipment so that everything works as it should during the meetings. I spend a lot of time in the workshop and I'm sure that my motorcycles are properly prepared.”
