SGP quartet Nicki Pedersen, Andreas Jonsson, Niels-Kristian Iversen and Tai Woffinden get their season underway in Stars legend Tomas Topinka’s Farewell meeting at King’s Lynn tonight.

The World Championship stars are busy warming up for the season-opening New Zealand SGP in Auckland on March 23.

So they have taken the opportunity to say farewell to former Czech international Topinka, who has appeared for the Norfolk Arena outfit in 15 seasons since 1993.

Topinka is tracking a select side against this year’s impressive King’s Lynn team. His septet features world No.2 Pedersen at No.1 and Jonsson and Woffinden teaming up at No.3 and No.4.

Former Stars riders Troy Batchelor, Oliver Allen, Kevin Doolan and Simon Lambert join them.

The King’s Lynn team is led by GP Challenge bronze medallist Iversen, and he links up with Rory Schlein, Mads Korneliussen, Simon Stead, Nicolai Klindt, Sebastian Alden and Kozza Smith.
