Swedish star Freddie Lindgren insists Dackarna are cooking up “a recipe for success” after agreeing a return to the club for 2017.

Fast Freddie has spent the past three years with hometown team Indianerna, but left after the club were struck by financial problems.

Lindgren is joined at Malilla’s G&B Arena by SGP rivals Maciej Janowski and Patryk Dudek, with the likes of Anders Thomsen, Peter Ljung and Kacper Gomolski also in the squad.

Dackarna have chosen to build on this year's team with few changes, and it looks to me like a recipe for success.

The Orebro-born man is delighted to strengthen a side which reached this year’s Elitserien play-off final, losing out only to Rospiggarna.

He told the club’s official website: “This is a decision I’ve made, and it feels very good that I’ve decided to return to Dackarna. I already know many people who work at the club.

“Dackarna have chosen to build on this year's team with few changes, and it looks to me like a recipe for success.”

Coach Mikael Karlsson said: “Fredrik is a solid scorer on all types of track and is a very tough rider, who is important to have at the end of matches. Moreover, he finds something extra at the G&B Arena, which can give us a little more home advantage.

“When we got wind that he had terminated his contract with the Indians, it was a priority to get him to Dackarna. With Fredrik in the team, we will have two of the best Swedish seniors and we also have two of the best juniors in the squad.”
