Slovenian star Matej Zagar stormed to a 14 paid 15-point maximum as Smederna edged closer to the Swedish Elitserien play-off places with a 47-43 victory at home to Indianerna on Tuesday.

Zagar warmed up for next week’s Adrian Flux British SGP with a perfect performance, brilliantly backed up by 13 from Latvian ace Andzejs Lebedevs.

Danish international Kenneth Bjerre was Indians’ top performer on 12 paid 13, while Vaclav Milik added eight paid 10.

World No.3 Bartosz Zmarzlik bagged 12 points for Vetlanda as they went top of the table with a 46-44 victory away to local rivals Dackarna. Slovak star Martin Vaculik notched nine for the visitors.

World Championship challenger Patryk Dudek did his best to keep the hosts in it with 13, while Rune Holta collected nine paid 13. Maciej Janowski scored seven paid eight and Freddie Lindgren recorded five.

Polish star Piotr Pawlicki followed up his weekend heroics in Leszno with 13 paid 14 for Lejonen as they won 48-42 at home to champions Rospiggarna.

Aussie international Sam Masters notched nine paid 10, with 2012 world champion Chris Holder adding eight.

Finnish prospect Nike Lunna impressed for the visitors on 11 paid 12, while Jason Doyle scored nine and Andreas Jonsson accrued eight paid nine.

In the day’s other meeting, Swedish veteran Peter Karlsson rolled back the years to rack up 14 paid 15 points from six rides to inspire Piraterna to a 49-40 triumph at home to Masarna.

Danish champion Niels-Kristian Iversen added 11, with world champion Greg Hancock tallying 10 paid 11. Emil Sayfutdinov scored six paid seven.

Double world champion Tai Woffinden and Swedish racer Linus Sundstrom picked up nine paid 10 each for Masarna, with Antonio Lindback registering four paid five.
