Torun secured their spot in the 2018 Polish Ekstraliga after Michael Jepsen Jensen inspired them to victory in their promotion/relegation play-off at Gdansk on Sunday.

The visitors triumphed 50-40 at the coastal club to seal a 97-83 aggregate victory, with MJJ leading the way on 12 paid 14 for the Ekstraliga’s second-from-bottom team.

Polish veteran Grzegorz Walasek added 11, while Chris Holder registered eight and his brother Jack joined Pawel Przedpelski in scoring six paid seven.

Danish racer Mikkel Bech was in fantastic form for Gdansk, charging to 14 points from six heats. Kacper Gomolski tallied 10 paid 11. Troy Batchelor bagged seven paid eight.
