World No.2 Patryk Dudek powered into form with a 15-point maximum as Zielona Gora thrashed visitors Grudziadz 53-37 in the Polish Ekstraliga on Sunday.
Despite struggling for speed in the opening weeks of the season, Dudek was clearly back in his stride as he went unbeaten in five rides.
He was aided by 12 points from Piotr Protasiewicz, 10 from Michael Jepsen Jensen and six paid nine from Grzegorz Zengota. SGP star Przemyslaw Pawlicki led the Grudziadz scorechart on 10 paid 11, while Artem Laguta notched nine.
In the day’s other meeting, Emil Sayfutdinov raced to 12 points for Leszno as they fended off a Krzysztof Kasprzak-inspired Gorzow side to win 48-42 at the Alfred Smoczyk Stadium.
Former SGP riders Janusz Kolodziej and Jaroslaw Hampel also impressed on 11 and nine respectively for the hosts.
Kasprzak – named as PZM Warsaw SGP wild card this week – made a strong return to his boyhood club with 12 paid 13 points. Bartosz Zmarzlik zoomed to a straight 12.
