Ukraine will be part of the first-ever Monster Energy FIM Speedway of Nations after replacing Slovakia at Race Off 1 in Teterow on June 2.

The Slovak side withdrew from the competition following a spate of injuries to its leading stars, including FIM Speedway Grand Prix ace Martin Vaculik, who is currently sidelined with a broken ankle.

Their absence hands Ukraine the honour of contesting the first-ever Monster Energy SON race as they start their campaign against the USA in heat one at the Bergring Arena.

They will come up against hosts Germany, Denmark, Russia, Latvia, USA and Slovenia, with the top three joining Poland and the top three from Race Off 2 in Manchester on June 5 at the two-day Final in Wroclaw on June 8 and 9.
