IVACIC HANDED KRSKO CALL

Slovenian No.2 Matic Ivacic set for AZTORIN Slovenian FIM Speedway Grand Prix wild card.

08 / 08 / 2018, 10:00

Slovenian Championship runner-up Matic Ivacic makes his full debut on the FIM Speedway Grand Prix stage as wild card for the AZTORIN Slovenian SGP in Krsko on September 8.

Ivacic dons the iconic No.16 race jacket after sealing second spot behind 17-time national champion Matej Zagar at the final Slovenian Championship round in Lendava last Saturday.

The 24-year-old has already appeared in the international arena this year, playing his part in Slovenia finishing fourth in Monster Energy FIM Speedway of Nations Race Off 1 at Teterow on June 2.

He took one ride as a track reserve at the 2016 Slovenian round, but this will be his first appearance in an SGP event over five rides.

Also lining up in Krsko are track reserves Nick Skorja and Denis Stojs, who don the No.17 and No.18 race jackets respectively.

The referee for the AZTORIN Slovenian SGP is Artur Kusmierz from Poland.

Tickets for the AZTORIN Slovenian SGP are still available online. Secure your place in Krsko here: http://bit.ly/2vC1t5F.
