KK STEPS IN FOR DUDEK AT DACKARNA

Former world No.2 Krzysztof Kasprzak will end the season in Sweden after replacing the injured Patryk Dudek at Dackarna.

Former world No.2 Krzysztof Kasprzak will end the season in Sweden after replacing the injured Patryk Dudek at Dackarna.

KK has been snapped up ahead of the second leg of the Elitserien play-off semi-final at Vastervik on Tuesday after Dudek suffered a broken arm in the opening contest at Malilla last Tuesday.

And boss Peter Karlsson says the multi-time FIM Speedway World Cup winner is determined to deliver on his return to the Elitserien.

He told the Dackarna website: "Kasprzak is a rider who has a lot of experience of big races and has several seasons in Sweden behind him, which is important in this regard.

"He was definitely one of the riders we had in mind when we started the search for a replacement for Dudek. When we made the decision to go with Kasprzak, he was really crazy about coming in and doing the job for us.”

Elsewhere, Indianerna have started their team-building plans for 2019 early by extending Kenneth Bjerre’s deal for another season.
