ELITSERIEN | PRZEMEK IN SMEDERNA RETURN

Former SGP star Przemyslaw Pawlicki is on his way back to back-to-back Swedish Elitserien champions Smederna for 2019.

02 / 11 / 2018, 18:02

Former SGP star Przemyslaw Pawlicki is on his way back to back-to-back Swedish Elitserien champions Smederna for 2019.

The Polish racer last competed for the Eskilstuna outfit in 2015 and returns following his mid-season departure from Masarna due to the club’s financial problems, which also saw Tai Woffinden leave.

Pawlicki is set to step into the void left by Danish champion Niels-Kristian Iversen, who has moved to Piraterna.

Smederna boss Jerker Eriksson told the club’s website: "He was a rider we looked at very early when we understood that we would have to rebuild the team. Przemyslaw has been at the club before and performs well here, which is a plus.

"The 2018 season was not the best for him but we will see a great improvement in him in the coming season.”
